The Inclusive March Challenge- Third Edition

This year, we are shining a spotlight on Intergenerational Inclusion, a critical but often overlooked aspect of workplace diversity. With four generations actively shaping today’s workforce, fostering collaboration across age groups is key to unlocking innovation, stronger connections and sustainable success.

What to Expect?

Starting March 3rd teams across the financial sector will take on four weeks of interactive exercises designed to:
✅ Encourage meaningful dialogue between different generations
✅ Challenge biases and assumptions about age
✅ Demonstrate how diverse perspectives lead to better problem-solving and teamwork

Each challenge will be published every Monday, and teams will have until Friday to complete it. On Fridays, teams will share their results on LinkedIn, showcasing their efforts and insights. Teams will also have the opportunity to compete for exciting Inclusive Prizes, making the experience even more rewarding.

Why Participate?

Intergenerational inclusion goes beyond just numbers. It’s about valuing the wisdom of experience while embracing the fresh perspectives of emerging talent. Organizations that foster age diversity create workplaces that are more resilient, innovative and future-proof.

Embrace the challenge, expand your perspectives, and contribute to building a more inclusive workplace. The Inclusive March Challenge is back, will your team rise to the occasion?

Testimonials

“As the legal team from KBC Asset Management, we enjoyed participating in the Inclusive March Challenge hosted by Wo.Men in Finance. This experience was eye-opening as it encouraged us to engage in discussions beyond our daily legal and business-related topics. The weekly challenges helped our team to pause and engage in self-reflection, adding significant value to our personal and professional development. By stepping out of our comfort zones, we gained valuable insights into different perspectives and developed a deeper understanding of the importance of inclusion in our working environment. We are aware, however, that inclusion must remain an important ongoing point of attention, especially when working in an international and hybrid working environment. We want to thank the organization of Wo.Men in Finance for the great opportunity to participate in the challenge. It was an inspiring and enriching experience, and we look forward to supporting more initiatives like this in the future.”

"For the legal and tax department of Belfius Bank and Insurance, participating in the Wo.Men in Finance Inclusive March Challenge was an inspiring experience as it allowed us to promote diversity and inclusion within Belfius by working together to identify concrete actions. For example, we discussed job descriptions to attract talent from all backgrounds, representation in all aspects of the banking sector (including some roles where there are very few women and people of colour), and ways to support employees in combating common obstacles such as imposter syndrome and unconscious biases. Discussions about biases and micro-aggressions were also revealing and helped raise awareness about these important issues. It is crucial to keep diversity and inclusion awareness alive at Belfius, and challenges like the “Inclusive March Challenge” are necessary to achieve the ultimate goal of creating a truly inclusive workplace for all employees, up to the leadership.”
